📜 Ahoi Ashtami Vrat Katha (Story)
According to legend, a mother unknowingly harmed a wild animal’s child while digging soil before Diwali. This angered Ahoi Mata, resulting in the loss of her children. Filled with grief, she prayed sincerely and performed penance. Pleased by her devotion, Ahoi Mata blessed her and instructed women to observe this vrat every year for their children’s protection. Since then, Ahoi Ashtami has been observed with deep faith.
